1. Course objectives

This course is designed to help students:

• Identify and pronounce Vietnamese correctly.
• Correctly pronounce of the first consonants in Vietnamese
• Correctly pronounce final consonants in Vietnamese
• Correctly pronounce vowels and diphthongs in Vietnamese
• Correctly pronounce accompaniment sounds in Vietnamese
• Correctly pronounce tones in Vietnamese
• Fix common pronunciation errors of foreigners learning Vietnamese

• Number of periods: 40 periods (2 periods/day; 1 month/course)
