1. Course objectives

This course is designed to help students:

• Read and understand the basic contents of an article in Vietnamese.
• Get familiar with the language of journalism.
• Summarize (oral or written) the basic contents of an article.
• Understand the terms that frequently appear in the press according to each topic: culture, sport, health, economy, politics.

Briefly state your opinions on the issue related to the article.

• Number of periods: 40 periods (2 periods/day; 1 month/course)
